I had a friend tell me that he doesn't believe in love.
Really? I don't think it is that love doesn't exist. I
believe it is the selflessness in people that is hard to come by.
Because to truly love, one needs to be nearly selfless.

I completely agree with you. Selflessness is extremely important to find in someone. I think another reason it is hard to find love is that once a person gets hurt (their heart broken) they are less inclined to put themselves out there and trust others and be open to finding love again.
